TICKETS: Advanced ticket sales and tickets purchased on the gate are non-refundable but are transferable to a third party at your own discretion. It is your responsibility to check your tickets.

All wristbands must be secured on your wrist on arrival. We will NOT be responsible for any wrist bands that are lost or stolen. If you are unable to produce your wristband you will be required to purchase a full price replacement. Any broken wristband can be brought to a member of staff and exchanged for a replacement.

In order to prevent fraud and to protect all parties, you may be asked to provide additional information after your booking so that we can verify your purchase.

Ticket holders consent to filming, photography and sound recording as members of the audience

RIGHT TO ADMISSION: The right to admission to the event is reserved by the organiser who may take health and safety, environmental and security concerns into account at their reasonable discretion, security searches may be required to be carried out. In the event a person is refused entry or ejected from the event due to being (or appearing to be) under age, declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken or other antisocial behaviour, carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, or by not abiding by the event conditions, no refunds will be offered.

The event organiser accepts no responsibility for any personal property.

​

CANCELLATION / POSTPONEMENT: of show due to unforeseen circumstances, all tickets will be transferred to the next available date.

PROHIBITED ITEMS:

​

It is a condition of booking that you give consent to being searched by our security staff if requested.

​

• No glass on site. Bag searches will take place on entry to the main arena. Bottles will be confiscated. You may decant into an appropriate container.

• No illegal substances or weapons. If you are found with any of these items in your possession they will be confiscated by our security team, the police will be notified and you will be evicted from the site.

• Only food and alcohol for personal consumption is allowed – nothing is to be sold on to others

• No portable laser equipment or pens.

• No fireworks, sky lanterns, kites, wax flares or sound systems – Persons using fireworks will be evicted from site immediately and all materials confiscated.

• No motorised scooters, mini bikes or quads allowed

• No Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) or psycho active substances. As a contraband good, under the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016 this substance is banned at Volksfest Wales.

 

DOGS: are permitted on site but MUST be kept on a lead, and under control at ALL time. Please ensure you pick up any mess after your dog and place in the bins / skips provided.

OPEN FIRES – ARE NOT PERMITTED. : Fire pits and barbecues are allowed but must be raised off the ground, they MUST NOT be left unattended and MUST be EXTINGUISHED after use. Anyone found with an OPEN FIRE will be REMOVED from the site. Please ensure BBQ's are FULLY extinguished before putting in a skip.

TRADING: on camping plots or any other camping area is NOT ALLOWED. Anyone found trading without permission will be asked to leave the showground.

​

FLAG POLES: must be a minimum of 5 meters away from any overhead electric cables.

​

EQUIPMENT:  anyone causing any damage to equipment on site through irresponsible behaviour, including tipping toilets over, cutting fencing will automatically be REMOVED from the site IMMEDIATELY. Damages will be charged for, including a toilet cleaning fee of £150 where applicable.

​

NO INDEPENDENT  SOUND SYSTEMS: are permitted in any area including campsite. Any noise deemed anti-social at any time of day or night is unacceptable

 

FISHING: is not permitted,

​

NO SWIMMING: in the river or canal.

​

NOISE:  please keep noise levels to a minimum. Radio’s / Tapes and CD players etc. must all be turned off by MIDNIGHT.

​

GENERATORS: ARE permitted but can ONLY be run between 09.30am & 20.30pm. This is a family show so please have consideration for your fellow campers, staff and locals.

​

VEHICLE MOVEMENT: Is NOT permitted other than:

1: Leaving / returning to the show

​

2: To compete in organised events

​

3: Official Volksfest Wales’s vehicles

​

The MAXIMUM speed limit on site is 5MPH and MUST be obeyed. Anyone found driving around the site other than the above, or not obeying the speed limit WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE IMMEDIATELY

SECURITY & FIRST AID: Will be on site 24hrs. The showground gates will be locked between 21.00 – 09.00. Security are empowered to refuse entry and reject anyone causing a nuisance.
